Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Remora: Antivirus Protection mobile application ("App") developed by Vladislav Chernyshov ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes on Apple devices you own or control. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract source code
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Remove or obscure any proprietary notices

2. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

Some features of the App require a paid subscription ("Pro"). Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and are subject to Apple's payment terms. Key points:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings
• No refunds are issued for the unused portion of a subscription period, except as required by applicable law
• Prices may change; we will give reasonable notice before price changes take effect

3. Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period for Pro features. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be automatically charged for the subscription. Only one free trial per Apple ID.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• All content you store, process, or delete through the App
• Maintaining backups of important files before using cleaning features
• Keeping your Secret Space PIN secure
• Using the App in compliance with all applicable laws

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. All media processing occurs on-device; we do not upload your files to our servers.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR FREE OF VIRUSES.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL VLADISLAV CHERNYSHOV BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vladislav Chernyshov from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

The App and all associated content (graphics, code, trademarks, logos) are the exclusive property of Vladislav Chernyshov. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Sections 6, 7, 8, and 9 survive termination.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
